About this calculator

This calculator works out the angle of a guy wire and the turning radius available to your antenna: how far it can reach out from the tower at its mounting height before it meets the guy wires.

Enter the height of the guy ring above the ground, the level distance from the tower to the guy anchor, and the height of your antenna on the tower, below the guy ring. Your antenna’s own turning radius (half its longest element or boom, measured from the mast) should be less than the result.

For information only. Please double-check the results and consult a Professional Engineer for your Tower, Mast and Antenna setup & installations.
